Nic
Nic has been involved in art in some way since she was in the womb, making and creating then when she reached 18 she had her first tattoo. Now she has work by some of the best tattoo artists in the industry - those artists inspire her tattoo work. She also has a degree in Fine Art.
Nic loves all things vintage, and has a passion
for travel, consequently for the iconography of other cultures;
Mexican Day of the Dead imagery to Thai Buddhas and everything
in between.
Nic especially loves Indian Mehndi designs, so beautifully applied to the skin with traditional henna pastes. Some of her own tattoos are inspired by these intricate patterns so when she started tattooing she knew this was one of the styles she wanted to work in, however all styles of art interest and intrigue Nic. She also works with mandalas, dotwork, geometry and colour. Nic set up Songbird Tattoo in December of 2011 at the original site in Honiton, and moved the shop to it's current location in Exeter in November of 2014.

Syluss
Syluss was born in the UK. After completing a Btec in Art and Design in Hertfordshire in the early 90's he spent most of his time travelling and sometimes living in places such as Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan and Australia. This is where his love of cultural art and history began inspiring him to take his passion for creativity further.
Self-taught, he worked on friends in his spare time while working on his drawing and painting techniques. Whilst striving to gain a solid foundation in tattooing, Syluss got his first opportunity to turn professional when offered a position at Inka Tattoos in Brighton, UK in 2007 where he learned a various array of styles in the tattoo trade. After 2 years it was time for a change and Syluss moved to Australia where he has worked as a guest artist for 2 and a half years in various studios in Melbourne, appearing at Down to Earth, Advanced Art and Tattoo Connection.
Most recently, he has also done a guest spot in Vancouver, Canada.
Whilst he still embraces many different tattooing styles he eventually fell in love with more realistic black and grey work and loves the challenge of photo realism.
Syluss is a passionate artist who is committed to the industry of tattooing and its perception as a respected and serious art form. He joined Songbird in 2012 www.sylussink.com

Ry
Brownie
Brownie joined Songbird in 2016, he has 12 years of tattooing experience under his belt, after
working through a wide variety of styles he developed a passion for
freehand lettering of all styles and black and grey Chicano inspired
designs.
Brownie says he prefers to do his lettering freehand because it
allows him to fit each piece to the individual and create a better flow
to the script, this may well be an elaborate excuse for him being lazy.
Adi
Adi joined Songbird as an apprentice/receptionist/superstar DJ in 2015. He's a successful published illustrator and is working on tattooing in his own unique style.
Sammy
