I've been involved in art in some way since I was about 5 years old, making and creating then when I reached 18 I had my first tattoo. Now I have blackwork by some of the best tattoo artists in the industry - those artists inspire my tattoo work. I also have a degree in Fine Art.
I love all things vintage, retro rides, quirky 50's style, baking cupcakes and good times. I also have a passion for travel and consequently for the iconography of other cultures; Mexican Day of the Dead imagery to Thai Buddhas and everything inbetween.
Style
I especially love Indian Mehndi designs,
so beautifully applied to the skin with tradional henna pastes. My own
tattoos are inspired by these intricate patterns so when I started
tattooing I knew this was one of the styles I wanted to work in.
However all styles of art interest and intrigue me, recent tattoos I
have done include a graphic, graffiti style set of speakers with
butterflies and paint spatters, a 1950's pin up model and a new skool
style colourful russian doll.
Design
When you decide you want a tattoo, email
me with your research ideas and pictures. I can then draw up ideas and
we can get together to discuss the final tattoo design.
Cost
Once a design has been agreed I ask for
an appointment deposit which will be deducted from the final cost of
your tattoo. This will have been discussed and agreed at the
consultation stage, I charge per piece for small and medium sized work,
and £60 per hour for larger projects such as sleeves etc.
